My new butterfly collection is inspired by the transformation of a butterfly, from a cocoon to a beautiful free insect. Looking at the close up patterns of butterfly wings, I started making continuous line drawings of small shapes and squiggles. These new rugs are a different take on my signature style, with squiggle outlines, loops and bold and graphic shapes filled with alternating colours. I wanted to fill in my rugs like butterfly wings so the colours are evenly spaced out, thinking about symmetry of wings. These fluffy rugs are the perfect touch to cosy up any home. You can hang them on the wall, use them as a cushion or a place mat to hold and protect your favourite objects. Immerse yourself in these soft colourful islands and let your imagination run wild.

The rugs are an exploration of colour, form and mark making using a handheld tufting gun. Each design varies slightly as I want you to feel like you own something special! Comes with an attached metal hoop which you can easily hang on the wall.
